The world has achieved a lot in combating poverty thanks to the World Bank’s program, Millennium development goals of ensuring that the world is free of poverty. Undernutrition due to challenges in public health was a key challenge for the last forty years or so. Food securities, lack of jobs, lack of education, gender inequality are all challenges that have contributed to extreme poverty around the word.
